Role Description

Twelve Consulting Group is seeking a tech-savvy and people-centric individual to provide stellar administrative support for our Twelve staff. This role is based out of our Minneapolis, MN location and will allow for hands-on experience in a variety of HR and Office Management functions including employee engagement and recognition, HR administration, event and program planning/management and more. What you’ll do:

While much of your day-to-day will be determined on current business or project needs, the Office Manager/People Ops Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

Office Management:

  • Manage the daily operations of the physical office space in Minneapolis and support satellite offices and remote employees
  • Greet clients and visitors to the Minneapolis office
  • Receive and organize mail/packages
  • Maintain break room, drink and snack ordering, ensure area is clean (trash, dishwasher, water plants, etc)
  • Organize catering for events in the office
  • Provide basic desktop support and troubleshooting solutions for IT and office equipment

People Operations:

  • Administer TwelveCG Programs (Empowering Leaders, Holiday Giveaway, Employee Recognition & Client Surveys)
  • Support new employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain and manage employee information in HR System (Ease Central)
  • Create and maintain employee personnel files in Box
  • Pull and analyze employee engagement reports from employee engagement platform (OfficeVibe)
  • Complete employment verification requests
  • Send and manage signatures of employee policies, handbook, annual reviews, and more
  • Manage and track completion of required employee trainings in Navex
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating in-person interviews (greeting candidates, managing interview schedule, etc.)
  • Develop & execute on ideas that promote employee engagement - both in-person and virtually
  • Other administrative support and projects as they arise

More about you:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (HR, business, communications, or other related field preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of general office or business experience
  • High level of accountability and resourcefulness. You are happy to take a project and run with it, researching and problem-solving along the way
  • Integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail are some of your strongest qualities
  • Prior work in DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and/or keen interest in learning and growing capacity for DEI
  • Possess exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work assignments
  • A knack and passion for relationship-building and developing positive and supportive working relationships with peers and leaders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Bonus points:

  • You have an interest in developing a career in HR and/or prior experience in an HR assistant/coordinator role
  • Experience teaching and/or delivering trainings
  • Familiarity with data security practices and IT support
